I really can’t suggest a song, if you are in choir, ask you director to suggest something. But, IT IS more important to learn the dances. Frenchie did more dancing than she did singing. P.S. I say Grease when It first came out and today it is still my favorite movie. So far I agree with the choices they have made on the show. Good Luck and dance as often as you can. Look in a mirror if possible and watch your self dance. Learn better that way.

“Somewhere That’s Green” from Little Shop of Horrors
“Where Am I Going” from Sweet Charity

Both of those have a slightly dopey/slightly sad feel to them but with a big, fifties sound.

Good luck and don’t slack on preparing for the dancing too!

The wizard and I or Defying Gravity from Wicked.

I Can Hear the Bells, Good Morning Baltimore, or Cooties from Hairspray would be perfect!
Somewhere That’s Green from Little Shop of Horrors would work too.
On My Own from Les Miserables is a beautiful song.
    Break a leg!

My friend who just scored that part used I’m Gonna Wash That Man Right Out of My Hair which is a really upbeat, i’m better than you song.

Think of cheesey broadway songs from the golden age, that’s showing a womans worth, and shows her character.
