    joe satriani is by far my favourite guitarist, possibly best in the world.
    but i’d love to give credit to his bassist. his skills are awesome. people think its a dead/boring instrument but if you see him you’ll be told otherwise;)

    oh! thanks, but i was searching on the web, and i saw a video of joe satriani teatching how to use his pedal, and he says that the wah pedal is a vox, the same brand of his new distortion pedal

    I dont know why all the **** towards Joe, i mean, he only makes great music and its one of the greatest guitar players alive, and he sue Cold Play (who doesnt want to to that LOL).

    Theory is extremely important and in that respect I agree with you but what we must remember is that it is *not everything*. You must have feeling and emotion to make it really come across.

    Miles and John were certainly amazing musicians/Virtuosos.

    As for Van Halen-Esque player, Joe is by far better then Eddie.

    Not saying he isnt “good,” just saying people need to stop calling him a virtuoso. And yeah your right, no one cares about music theory when talking about other virtuosos, like say Miles Davis or John Coltrane…oh wait actually they do. He’s a decent Van Halen-esque player, if he wants to be a virtuoso, he may want to do something different. PS the fact that he makes millions and is popular does not mean anything.
