    lechiendormant:

“‘MishaVargas’ - when a loony gets all loony with you , you should just nod, smile and say ‘yeeeess!’ and walk away…”

Nah, bladebla’s comment was slightly funny. I’M the one who answers joke questions on YouTube. Who’s the real loony?

Answer: Me, for wanting a necklace made of human teeth.

“what about leap years?” says bladebla111.

An important question. It seems that the definition of “year” used in the term “light-year” (the distance light will have traveled in a year through space) is a Julian year, exactly 365.25 days, or 31,557,600 seconds. We don’t actually use the Julian calender, but whatevahs.

All this and more is on Wikipedia.

Based on the fluctuation of the lines as the figure revolves, my guess would be that it was traditionally animated (aka cell animation). Whether or not they had any sort of basis for the animation (Such as footage of an actual female figure rotating in a similar manner that the animator could essentially trace) I can’t guess, but it could have made the work slightly easier.
